Dawn of Promise Farm is hosting a free workshop on June 14, 2009, 2 p.m., on showing llamas in showmanship and obstacle courses. Our clinician is Emaly Leak from Autumn Hill Llamas and Fiber. The photo at the left shows Emaly showing her female llama, Overman Bluff & Fluff at the Indiana State Fair.
Emaly has participated in 4-H and llama shows for many years and has numerous accomplishments in llama showing, breeding and fiber. We are thrilled that she said yes to our invitation and hope you'll make plans to join us on Sunday afternoon, June 14th for an informative session on llama showing. The event is open to any 4-Hers or adults who want to improve in their ability to show and train llamas, or who are interested in showing llamas and just want to check it out. The level of the workshop is beginner showman.
Space is limited, so please get your registration in early by sending an email to Vickie Maris, vickiemaris@gmail.com, at Dawn of Promise Farm in Battle Ground, Indiana. Driving directions will be provided with your registration confirmation. We will hold the event rain or shine (we'll move into the barn aisle if it rains) so space is limited.
