The llamas of Dawn of Promise Farm make several appearances throughout the new video available on youtube. The video recaps the farm activities of 2008 so you'll see a variety of images and video clips of the llamas as well as the Connemara ponies (Kerrymor Madison, Serendipity's Savannah, Loughin's Aragorn "Conor," Dawn's Brennainn, Old Carolina's Bitsy, Dawn's Molly, Dawn's Alannah Madison and others). In the llama footage, you'll get to see Betty and Annabell galloping around the pasture and our new female cria, Holly (Heartsong's baby), playing in the yard. You'll also see Llana and Velvet in their new roles as my partners in animal-assisted therapy.
The video is in memory of my dad, James R. Maris, who passed away about a year ago (Jan. 9, 2008) and who would have loved getting to know the llamas. He was definitely an animal lover and always a great helper on the farm.
