Hiking on a snowy day with the llamas

Hiking with the llamas on a snowy afternoon is a peaceful experience! We took Llana and Betty out on lead and Annabell was tagging along loose. The llamas so enjoy being with us and seem to like taking in the scenery as we walk along. We stopped to watch several 100 Canadian geese fly and honk overhead and the llama girls even turned their noses skyward to take it all in.

The creek is mostly covered with ice and snow but there were a few places where we could see the water flowing and the smooth stones of the creek bottom showing through. It was about 30 degrees F with the snow falling so it made for a lovely afternoon on the trail. Enjoy the pictures! Vickie
