The llamas are home!

We're so excited to have our new llamas home on the farm. They are enjoying their new llama area, shed and pasture. We had a welcome home party for them on Saturday and friends came out to greet them and enjoy a fall evening on the farm. Velvet (3 yrs, 1/2 Argentine, white with brown face) and Llana (1 yr, brown, wearing blue halter) even went out with us on the trails and were such good girls with all the commotion around them. They liked taking in all the sites and with a quick turn of their heads could point us immediately in the direction of changes in the scenery such as a hawk taking flight or our neighbor hiking through his field 200 yards away. They just don't miss anything.

A rest stop along the trail turned into a llama petting session!

On Sunday we picked up Heartsong (black and white), Betty (6 months, white with brown) and Annabell (6 months, brown) Their photos are below. Enjoy the pics! Vickie
